GUN CONTROL EGG ON OBAMA'S FACE

We're all aware of the fact that Emperor Barack Hussein Obama is bound and determined to outlaw personal possession of guns in this country.  He evidently even authorized Eric Holder to engineer Fast & Furious whereby border gun shop owners were asked to sell guns to Mexican drug cartels, ostensibly to be able to track the weapons to cartel members but really intended to show America how illegal guns sales were taking place on the border, thereby adding to the Administration impetus to outlaw gun sales. Once a Congressional investigation got started into the details, everyone in the Administration clammed up.  That's why I say, "evidently."  They haven't provided access to records and documents to refute that supposition.   

Then there was that horrible school shooting in Newtown, Connecticut.  Right away, Obama and Holder and all of the self-righteous Marxist liberals in the country demanded gun control.  After all, they argued, legally owned guns are ending up in the hands of violent criminals; we need a really tight national system of control over gun ownership.  

Enter the National Park Service and the embarrassing revelation that it cannot account for thousands of firearms, (rifles, shotguns and pistols), supposedly in its inventory.  While surveying Park Police field office armories, investigators found more than 1,400 extra and unassigned weapons that were intended to be destroyed. They also found 198 handguns that were transferred from the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives and stored in an operations facility firearms room without being recorded in an inventory system. There are also instances of officers storing service weapons at their homes, according to the report.

So, here we have a President demanding that we have a strict national gun control law, and he can't even keep track of his own weapons.  I, myself, know of an instance where Bureau of Indian Affairs weapons were inadvertently left behind in a tribal law enforcement facility; several years passed and, when the BIA was contacted about what to do with the weapons, BIA officials were at a loss to determine why the guns were there.  That means to me that they have no inventory control, either. 

Let's see, National Park Service, BIA, DOJ, DHS, USDA... how many guns do you suppose are not accounted for?  And, how many of them have ended up in the hands of criminals? 

I wonder how Barack is going to try and slide out of this mess?

RUBIO DOESN'T GET IT

Likely Presidential candidate Marco Rubio has stepped into the political dung big time.  On Wednesday, he stood before the Senate and directly addressed his critics, appealing to them to see his amity with the Senate’s Gang of Eight as the lesser of two evils. 

The "lesser of two evils?"  Who in the hell wants an evil, period?  We've had enough of this rationalizing on the part of national leaders who don't have the guts or sufficient patriotism to stand up unequivocally for what is right, what is NOT evil.  I have a great deal of respect for a man who is willing to stand and admit that he's made a mistake, but I have absolutely no respect for a man who makes the mistake and then tries to worm or spin his way out of it. 

And, from what I'm seeing, the rest of the nation is finally coming around to my way of thinking:  If the job is worth doing, the job is worth doing right.  

Rubio doesn't get it.

CALIFORNIA OUTRAGE

The Supreme Court, justifiably so, ruled that those seeking to uphold Proposition 8 did not have the "legal standing" to do so.  In order to have "legal standing," you must personally have an interest in the outcome.  In the original ruling, Proposition 8 was struck down.  The State, under Attorney General Edmond Brown, (now Governor), refused to appeal the case, but a group in support of Prop 8 did, and it is that group which did not have the legal standing to step in to the litigation in State of California's stead.  So, the original Court decision stands as is and all of the appeals were flawed. 

The right to gay marriage in California has been voted down several times.  The most recent attempt in 2008, Proposition 8, made gay marriage unconstitutional by amendment.  Almost 80% of the eligible voters voted in that election and 52% of those voted for the amendment.  

Now, I disagree with the outcome.  The outcome is that gay marriage in California could resume immediately, although the majority of Californians are against it.  It seems to me this is about the third time this has occurred.   If you're going to blame anyone for this outcome, it has to be Brown.  

It is possible, I presume, for the state to now take the matter up on appeal, since it has standing.  Or, the populace has to create and pass some other law to prevent same sex marriages.  I continue to maintain that the issue of same sex marriage is a states' right issue, (in other words not subject to the creation of a Federal law,).

THE GREAT BENGHAZI DECEPTION

The State Department is responsible at the highest levels for the numerous security lapses at the Benghazi Consulate.  Under-Secretary Patrick Kennedy is being called to explain why, when a December 2011 memo from Jeffrey Feltman -- then-Assistant Secretary of State for Near Eastern Affairs (NEA) -- pledged "to rapidly implement a series of corrective security measures, no substantial improvements were made. 

If the Under-Secretary and the Assistant Secretary both knew of the security shortcomings, then surely Clinton knew.  Any of us who have studied the Benghazi Massacre from the time it occurred have long believed that Clinton knew.  The only question to us is how far into the Obama Administration the knowledge reaches.  Given the marching out of the United Nations Ambassador to insist that the Massacre was caused the anti-Muslim video, one must presume that it reaches all of the way to the oval office.

WHY ARE WE SENDING AN AMBASSADOR TO LIBYA?

Are we now ready to send off another lamb to slaughter?  The new Ambassador to Libya, Deborah Jones, was sworn in on June 12th.  We presume she had her bags packed and by now is on site in Tripoli.  Since then, a car bomb devastated the French Embassy there.  In Benghazi, there have been deadly conflicts between protesters and the militia.  

It's been well over nine months since our Ambassador and three brave young men lost their lives in what amounted to be a massacre at Benghazi.  Our illustrious President has refused to explain where he was that night, why Secretary of State Clinton "disappeared" for several weeks, why a video was blamed for the massacre, or why he refuses to allow Congressional investigators access to documents pertinent to an investigation or to on-the-ground witnesses as to what actually occurred during the fighting while we refused to come to any rescue. 

Now, I am compelled to ask: "What are the security arrangements?  Are they different than they were before?  Why?"

ON THIS SNOWDEN THING

I was in the military and held a Top Secret Clearance.  I hold a lot of respect for the need for national security and for the old World War slogan, "Loose Lips sink ships." 

But, I also believe that a tremendous amount of bad things can be done under the guise of "national security."  I believe as well that the general public has every right, generally, to know what the parameters are as well as what methods "might" be employed.  You can inform the public of these things without breaching intimate details of your security apparatus.  

We need to expect that, when any government agency starts to run amok, someone will come forth and let us know.  In regards to Snowden, I've heard it said that he should have gone to his Congressman, but what makes you think the Congressman is going to pick up the ball and run with it?

Has Snowden really done this country any harm?  Not yet, that I am aware of.  Did we have a right and a need to know the things that Snowden has thus far alleged?  I think so.  Does he need to be apprehended and put on trial?  I think that needs to happen, as long it is not a railroad job or a kangaroo court.  Am I angry at him for doing what he did?  No; I am thankful that he came out because, unchecked, we all know that this massive invasion into our private lives would only continue to get worse, and worse, and worse.  

Finally, if we allow them to switch the focus of wrongdoing from themselves onto Snowden we do ourselves a horrendous disfavor. because we shall surely discourage anyone else in the future from  being a Paul Revere.

BREAKING THE WILL OF THE AMERICAN PEOPLE

When you're talking about setting the stage for the overthrow of a government, there are certains steps you must take:

• Confuse the public
• Divide the citizenship
• Control the press
• Create financial chaos
• Create distrust in the current government
• Create fear
• Rid the country of strong moral, ethical and religious beliefs
• Identify and vilify your enemies
• Break the will of those citizens who remain who, in their patriotism, become your opposition

I believe and you must agree that the first eight of these necessities have already been resolved.  All that remains is to break the will of the remaining patriots. 

And so it is, I suggest, that we are now faced with scandal after scandal after scandal, the threat of domestic terrorism, lie after lie, stonewalling and the continued belligerence on the part of the Administration toward our Constitution.  We have reached the point where our Members of Congress seem to be "going along with the program." 

Everyone in Washington seems to be ignoring the will of the people.  Enough of that attitude and our resolution and willpower simply have to be negatively influenced.  

In any other era in this country, the citizenry would be up in arms demanding the resignation of the President and his cronies and getting ready to replace Members of Congress.  We have willingly allowed our country to be permeated with Communists, European Socialists, Progressives and others, all to the extent that we may have lost control of our government altogether.  

We have to quit shrugging our shoulders and do something about it before it is too late, and we are perilously close to that day.

OBAMA ATTACKS RELIGIOUS SCHOOLS

President Barack Hussein Obama continued to attack religion in Ireland during his recent trip there, thereby arousing the ire of citizens in Britain and Ireland.  He told a Belfast audience that towns will remain divided “if Catholics have their schools and buildings, and Protestants have theirs.”  

Setting aside the attack on religion for the moment, it is a well-known fact that schools operated by religious groups provide a far better education than public schools provided by the government.  On that point alone, he is out of his tree.  

But, his attack underscores his flagrant anti-religious bigotry which began with his pre-election remarks about those who rely on their guns and Bibles in this country.  An article in the Scottish Catholic Observer said that Obama “made an alarming call for an end to Catholic education in Northern Ireland.”  

Oh, and by the way... Obama himself went to a MUSLIM School.  I guess, maybe, his trips abroad are finally explaining to the rest of the world why we are pissed off at him.

TEAPARTIES: BORN AGAIN AMERICANS

Estimates indicate that the crowd of Tea Party members holding their rally in Washington yesterday was 7,000 to 10,000 and probably bigger than any other Tea Party rally to date.  In contrast, President Obma rallied a crowd of 4,500 at the Brandenburg Gate in Germany, down from the 200,000 crowd he had on his last visit in 2008.  Obviously, the Germans share our disdain for this so-called President.  

The Tea Party Rally was organized on short notice and held during a weekday when people have to work for a living.  Such a turnout was not-expected.  The only thing missing was Nancy Pelosi flitting around with her baseball bat and her big mouth proclaiming there was horrible Tea Party violence. 

The good turnout on short notice brings one to the conclusion that the tea party movement is not dead, as Harry Reid would have us believe.  In fact, they are very much alive and really ticked off at the I.R.S., as they well should be.  The salt in that wound emerged Tuesday when word oozed out that the I.R.S. was issuing $70 million in bonuses to its illustrious employees.  First, they target conservative organizations, then they get a bonus, then the Administration denies there was anything political involved.  

Yeah.  

There are many Americans who are, like me, ticked off to no end at this Administration and all of the horse manure emanating therefrom. The Tea Party organizations obviously strike fear in the hearts of the ruthless bastards.  I'm inclined to suggest that we all get involved with a nearby Tea Party organization and that we push for them to raise holy hell.

ADMINISTRATION PERMEATED WITH LIARS & STONEWALLERS

Allegations that two top officials within the Department of State perjured themselves during hearings earlier this year into brewing scandals at the agency have surfaced.  It's interesting to me that we have not heard an ensuing sucking of surprised air; obviously, we're getting used to hearing about this kind of conduct. 

Somehow, I don't think that's a healthy attitude on our part.

SYRIA: WE'RE ALREADY THE LOSER

Within hours after Obama announced that we were sending some small arms to Syrian rebels, Iran announced it is putting 4,000 more pairs of boots on the ground to back Assad.  Yesterday, during a one-on-one with Putin, Putin basically told Obama to take a hike in his request for Russia to pressure Assad into backing down, although he did agree to ask Assad to come to the negotiating table.  The rebel forces include radical Muslims and Al Qaeda. We are going to join our enemies in fighting our enemy?  

There is no way we can win anything in this battle.  We can lose everything.  I honestly do not see the United States committing small arms and stopping there; as the battle continues to go Assad's way while he collects bigger weapons, heavy artillery and more manpower, the U.S. will next be drawn into committing air support which Russia has already indicated it will counter.  

Never in my life have I advocated getting out of a war.  We're not into this thing yet... weapons still have to be gathered and shipped.  But, I'm already saying, "Turn tail and run like hell."  Get out of there.  We cannot win anything and we stand the risk of starting World War III.   

The only reason we're getting involved at all is because Obama is in deep crapola with his domestic scandals; he simply needs to change the focus of our concerns.

SECURITY ARGUMENT IS BOGUS

"Well," they allege, "you have to have these security programs, as intrusive as they are, in the interest of national security.  Without them, we would all have been dead years ago and we'd have a Muslim as President.  This would no longer be a nation of Christians and Jews, but of Muslims, as Obama has already proclaimed we are.  

"Besides," they continue, "Google has been doing it for years.  Therefore, that makes it legal and ethical."  Finally, as if to put the nail in the coffin of their argument,  "George Bush signed off on it."  
Surely they already know we are a nation of sheep, but do they also think we are a nation of saps?

AND, YOU THINK, WHAT COULD POSSIBLY BE WORSE THAN OBAMACARE?

By now, we all know what a nightmare they foisted on the American public when they passed 2,700 pages of a bill we were told we'd have to read it so we would know what was in it, "away from the fog of the controversy."  Not only is it ruining the quality of our healthcare, it is far more expensive than advertised and creating a chain of debt around our collective necks.  What's more... over half of those "uninsureds" it was designed to insure, don't want anything to do with it.  Hundreds of thousands of employees are being cut back from full-time to part-time or being laid off altogether.  And, of course, they put it all under the enforcement arm of the I.R.S. 

What a piece of crap legislation it is, the worst in the history of this nation.  Yes, it's far worse than prohibition in its devastating effects on the economy and the health of the nation. 

But, it can be outdone, and that seems about to happen.  

While we're all mired down in the muck of ObamaScandals, there are those idiots in both major political parties who are relentlessly getting ready to give America another, and far worse shaft.  It's called "Immigration Reform."  

Under this plan, the borders will never be secured, the illegals will continue to cross and the problem will not go away.  What will happen is that illegals already here will be given amnesty, a short-circuit to citizenship, and piles of entitlements to be paid for out of your pocket and to create another drain on our economy.  The Democrats are all gung-ho because they want more votes; the Republicans are gung-ho because want to lose fewer Hispanic votes.  

The plain fact that this is a far worse "solution" to the problem of illegal immigration across our borders than the solution reached by President Reagan.  And, if you'll remember correctly or look it up, the proponents promised on stacks of Bibles that as soon as it was signed into law, they would go about sealing the borders to prevent further illegal immigration.  And now, here we are and they are repeating it: "As soon as it is signed into law, we will start to work on closing the borders."

Well, I'm sorry.  You may not like me to use the words, "illegal immigrants," but that is what they are, pure and simple.  They're illegal.  They have no right to be here.  They have no right to our money or our way of life.  They have circumvented our planned immigration system and ignored our laws.   In other countries, they would be shot.  They have no say so, no sway.  

I'll be damned if I want to see my taxes go up some more in order to support a bunch of illegal immigrants collecting welfare and milking the system.  The good ones have come here the legal way and become productive Americans, just like the Irish and the Italians.  The bad ones sneak across the border and become a blight on our country.  We are being infiltrated by Mexican drug gangs and criminals.  

And this "immigration reform" will open the doors wider.  I'm sorry to have to put it this way, but you know in your hearts I am right when I say it:  "Get the scum out and keep the scum out."

PRIVACY: JUST WHERE IS THIS LINE DRAWN?

On the one hand, we have the government insisting that the collection of cell phone data will never be used to go after law-abiding citizens, just for catching terrorists.  On the other hand, we have the Justice Department and the I.R.S. targeting the press, political enemies such as conservative groups and individuals who happen to fall into those categories.  

Here is a man who believes fervently in his country, its history and its future.  He is outspoken through blogs.  He is a conservative.  He contributes to the Libertarian Party and conservative groups.  He's a life member of the NRA.  He watches FOX NEWS and THE BLAZE.  Am I expected to believe that this Administration is NOT monitoring my emails and my cell phone activity?

THE WHEELS FINALLY START TO WOBBLE OFF

The surveys are now reflecting the toll of the continuing and ballooning growth of Washington scandals on the Obama Dynasty.  Even a HUFFINGTON POST survey shows that 55% of Americans believe the President's handling of terrorism is only fair or worse.  60% believe the President's protection of our rights is fair or worse.  Obama's favorability rating in the polls is declining; 24% strongly say he is doing a good job; 40% strongly say he is not, according to RASMUSSEN.

Faced with rising discontent over his policies and performance, Obama yesterday did what he does best when the heat is on: he left town and made political speeches in Massachusetts and Florida.  Remember that, while the ruins smoldered at the Benghazi Consulate he got on his jet plane and flew to Vegas to campaign.  

It's completely obvious to anyone and everyone that Obama is not, and never has been in charge at the White House.  He must report to Valerie Jarret and George Soros.  Whoever he reports to, the shiny luster on his vessel of "change" has become tarnished by the resent disclosures.  Even Bob Beckel, one of the resident Democrats at FOX, has had to admit that if the election were to be held tomorrow and he knew about the forthcoming scandals at the time, he'd have a tough time voting for Obama. 

There are cries for Obama to make some eloquent speech and redeem himself, but that will be a cold day in Hyde Park.  Besides, I suspect that his train has left the station and he's going to be twisting in the wind for the rest of his term, thereby dragging the morale of the country even further down the gutters.

DROP YOUR MEMBERSHIP IN THE SILENTY MAJORITY

We have now reached a point in the evolution of our democracy where we can no longer afford the luxury of hiding behind the label of "Silent Majority."  

Surely, everyone who reads this blog is frustrated, confused and concerned about recent revelations regarding so many different facets and agencies of our government.  There is one thing that I can say with absolute certainty:  Unless we speak out, Washington will never get the message.  They will never understand.  Things will continue to get worse.    We will get more frustrated, confused and concerned.  

Let's get off this political merry-go-round and speak out.  It's easy.  No one will shoot you.  You'll feel better about things and life.  Don't keep your mouth shut any more.  You owe it to yourself and to your country.  Find a way to make yourself heard, and do it.  You can start by looking up your Congressman or Senator on the Internet.  They each have their own webpages and several points of contact.  You don't even have to open your mouth if you don't want to; you can email or FAX.  

Do your country a big favor right now; let it all hang out.

HOW COMFORTABLE WOULD YOU BE IF I KNEW EVERYTHING ABOUT YOU?

My life has had its moments, both in achievement and in embarrassment.  I've had my affairs, I've sat with Senators & Congressmen.  I've been virtually bankrupt, I've been in really great financial shape.  I've been morally decadent and religiously solid as a rock. 

The point is this: there are things of which I am not proud, that I don't want my neighbors or friends to know about me.  

I'll be damned if I want some seedy government agent in a dark basement in some obscure building in Utah snooping through my past, storing tidbits of information and deciding, at some point, whether or not to release all or portions of that information to anyone, for any reason, without my consent or the order of a court judge. And you know as well as I do that, should you say or do something to tick some government bureaucrat off at some point in time in the future, the first move he is going to make is to go to your data file. 

If YOU are willing to settle for that, on the "word" of a government official all of this information will "never" fall into the wrong hands or be used by the government against us, that's up to you.  But, I'm madder than hell and I don't give a rat's ass if that guy in the basement is watching me type this or not.  There is no excuse, no justification urgent enough for the government to be storing all of this crap about everyone, whether they are born or even conceived yet or not. 

These "great thinkers" of the world need to be removed.

UTAH DATA REPOSITORY MUST BE SCRAPPED

That highly secret, humongous campus in Utah that is nearly ready to start up needs to be shut down before it ever opens.  It will officially be known as the Intelligence Community Comprehensive National Cybersecurity Initiative Data Center, and if you believe the proponents, it will be a benign place where innocuous data that would never harm a flea will be collected.  That, of course, must be why it is why it's Top Secret.  

The planned structure is approaching 1.5 million square feet and it is projected to cost up to $2 billion when finished in September 2013.  One report suggested that it will cost another $2 billion for hardware, software, and maintenance.  The data center will be able to capture "all forms of communication, including the complete contents of private emails, cell phone calls, Internet searches, as well as all sorts of personal data trails—parking receipts, travel itineraries, bookstore purchases, credit and debit card transactions, banking information, income tax returns, healthcare data and other digital 'pocket litter from the date of your birth until the date of your death.  

Now, if you're not going to use it against the populace, why collect it?  And if you think the intentions are benign, you believe Obama had nothing to do with the targeting of tea parties and conservative groups by the Internal Revenue Service.

MASSIVE GOVERNMENT SNOOPING - BEYOND YOUR WILDEST IMAGINATION

By now, you should be aware of the fact that our government is nearly finished building a massive complex in Utah designed to store mountains and mountains of data.  The story being bandied about by the liberal press is that the complex is designed solely to collect information on potential or known terrorists.  The fact is that the complex and its endless computer storage are going to be capable of storing everything about everybody in this country and that it is designed to do so. 

Enter the stories breaking over the last few days about the data being collected from Verizon and the Internet.  Obama went on national T.V. yesterday to assure us that the information being collected was only for the purpose of protecting the country from terrorism.  He went to great lengths to assure us that there was no tyranny intended… just like he told a college the other day just before all of these scandals broke.  He was quick to add that the authority to do these things was legislated and passed by Congress; he failed to add that he signed those pieces of legislation into law. 

Yesterday afternoon, THE BLAZE reported that the National Security Agency has on some occasions “accidentally” intercepted actual emails or phone call conversations of innocent Americans.  During the day, the author of the legislation came forward to insist that the act was never intended to be used for blanket data gathering as it is currently being used.  And we now know that NSA has been collecting information from Sprint, AT&T and credit card companies. 

When you add all of this to the information currently in I.R.S. files as well as to what they will have regarding your health status under ObamaCare, the government is in the position of knowing every minute detail and facet of your life and, as we all know, knowledge is power.  History is full of instances where a central government started collecting information on its citizens and used that information to control their actions, turning their government into fascist dictatorships.  The amount of information being collected by Obama is beyond scary.  It is unconstitutional from the aspect of illegal search and seizure. 

I’m sorry, but I have to be blunt because I don’t seem to be getting the message across:  The nation is perilously close to an overthrow of its government.   We cannot afford to allow the son-of-a-bitch in the White House smooth-talk us any longer.  We have been lulled into a false sense of security while this S.O.B. has been focused on putting into place the necessary “changes” that will allow an overthrow to occur.  We are at the final stage. 

We have no choice but to rise up and remove this administration from office immediately.  Time is no longer an option.  Contact your House representative and insist that articles for impeachment be prepared immediately.  There are endless grounds for doing so, far more blatant than what Richard Nixon was impeached for.

CALIFORNIA BLOCKS ALL SALES OF NEW SEMI-AUTOMATIC PISTOLS

California State Attorney General Kamala Harris has ruled that micro-stamping of ammunition cartridges by pistols is available technology.  As a result of legislation previously passed, the ruling means that all new semi-automatic pistols sold in California must micro-stamp each shell as it is ejected.  Due to the cost of manufacturing such weapons, it is highly unlikely that any manufacturer will make any more semi-automatic pistols for sale in California and the price for those that are available will be too high for citizens to afford.  

I think its close to the time when we need to march on Sacramento.

I said in BURNEY MOUNTAIN HERMIT on May 20th that Susan Rice was going to be named as the new National Security Adviser.  Why everyone is getting upset about it now that the announcement has been made tells me that the country is not paying attention: the time to get upset was back on May 20th.  

We all know that Rice took to national television to tell an outright lie to the world regarding the Benghazi Massacre.  We are equally aware of the fact that the Administration has been stalling, stonewalling, lying and obfuscating when it comes to getting at the facts surrounding that massacre.  With the "in-your-face" promotion of Rice to be National Security Adviser, Obama is signalling Congress that they can go whistle Dixie, because their quest to get the story on Benghazi is being declared "over and done with" by Obama.  

As an addendum, the Administration is also telling Americans that they are no longer in control of their government.  The age of the dictatorship of Barack Hussein Obama has now truly arrived.  

American democracy is dead.

BECKY GERRITSON CONGRESS TELLS IT LIKE IT IS

It was one courageous woman who testified before a Congressional Committee Tuesday, because she told it like it is.  The essence of what she had to say, that brings such import to the table at this crucial juncture in our history, was that the conduct of the I.R.S. has been un-American and very dangerous to our continued existence as a free and democratic republic.  She has fears that we may be losing our country... letting it "slip through our fingers."  Becky Gerritson is the President of the Wetumpka Tea Party in Alabama, and she was fired up.  "I’m telling my government that you’ve forgotten your place. It’s not your responsibility to look out for my well-being and to monitor my speech. It’s not your right to assert an agenda. Your post, the post that you occupy exists to preserve American liberty. You’ve sworn to perform that duty. And you have faltered.” 

Right on target; she nailed it and she got well-deserved applause.  It is under the watch of our Congress that Fast & Furious, the Benghazi Massacre, the E.P.A. scandal, the I.R.S. targeting and the Justice Department intimidation of the press occurred.  Speaking as a totally fed-up American, I say that Congress had better get off its collective bums and do something about it right now, or the members we hired to work there need to be fired.

KERRY CONFIRMS U.N. GUN TREATY WILL BE SIGNED

As reported Saturday June 1st on BURNEY MOUNTAIN HERMIT, the U.S. will sign the U.N. Arms treaty at the direction of President Obama.  This flies in the face of previous Congressional action against it.  

Obama must be removed from office.  He's not following the law, the Constitution or the direction of Congress.  He has become a de facto dictator.  We must rise up and defend our homeland from this attack on our democracy immediately.  He's backed us into a corner: we have no choice.

SENIORS ARE SCREWED, BUT GOOD

A recent article by MONEY NEWS points out that More than half of workers and over 60 percent of low-income workers, may not be able to maintain their living standards after they stop working. 

The reasons are multiple.  Investments in stocks and mutual funds are bringing lower yields than before.  Inflation is eroding whatever financial gains are available through senior investments.  Union pensions are in imminent danger of being reduced, particularly in government sectors, (state and national).   ObamaCare costs are soaring beyond even the most dire of predictions before the bill was passed.  Obama wants to place a cap on the amount of tax-free money that can be invested for retirement.  ObamaCare places more restrictive coverages on healthcare costs the older you get. And, of course, there will be the tax on inheritances; that's money that was already taxed once as it was earned.  

My advice to seniors is this:  Get on the Tea Party bandwagon and raise holy hell with these bastards; we have nothing to lose and everything to gain.

OUTRAGEOUS SLAP IN OUR FACES

In dealing with the Department of Justice scandal alone, one reality slaps every American in the face: the audacity of this President and his Lieutenants in his Administration is outrageous and unacceptable.  

Let me walk you through it.  In Philadelphia in the 2008 election, members of the New Black Panther Party were arrested for intimidating voters at a polling place.  In early 2009, Eric Holder dropped all charges against them and flatly refused to prosecute.  

In January of 2010, the BATF engineered the illegal sale of guns across the border from Texas gun shops.   The purpose of the sale, long ago swept under the rug, was to have crimes committed in Mexico with the illegal guns and then to close down the gun shops due to their "illegal" sales, thereby pounding one big nail into the coffin of rights of Americans to bear arms.  But, the plan backfired; an American agent got shot and killed and whistle-blowers came out of the woodwork.  A Congressional investigation ensued, during which Holder named his own Justice Department attorney to investigate and Holder eventually escaped unscathed due to the claim of Executive Privilege by our President.  

In September of  2012, the Benghazi Massacre occurred.  Obama told Eric Holder and the F.B.I. to conduct the investigation of the type of event historically investigated and prosecuted by the military.  The F.B.I. didn't event get to the Consulate until almost three weeks after the Massacre and the Administration continues to stonewall it.  

In May of 2013, the scandal about the I.R.S. targeting conservative groups and individuals broke and Holder was quick to say that he didn't know anything about it because he has "recused" himself.  Although it is customary for a claim of recusal to be done in writing, Holder's for some reason was not. 

In May of 2013, the scandal about the Department of Justice violating the rights of members of the media and press through the judicial process broke and Holder told Congress he didn't know anything about it.  It was later proven that Holder had held discussions on the issue prior to signing a secret warrant against James Rosen of FOX NEWS, a warrant that was kept secret illegally.  Once again, the President promptly washed his hands of it and once again appointed Eric Holder to investigate his own department.  

In other words, my fellow Americans, "Up yours."
